All Standard hires include: Free RACQ 24 hour Roadside Assistance * Unlimited kms within hire range * insurance with a standard excess of $3000 - $3800 for hirers over 25 yrs (Optional excess reduction packages are available upon request) * State Government Tax and GST (Goods and Services Tax)
Hires exclude: Optional extras, extended rentals, vehicle relocations, rental returns or collections outside of normal business hours
Pick up and Drop off: East Coast Car Rentals offer a free pick up and drop off service for all vehicles hired from the Brisbane Domestic or International Airports. After collecting your luggage, contact our office on (07) 3216 4873 and notify our staff of your arrival. Security Bond
|
All rentals must be secured by a credit card. This amount will depend on the insurance cover you choose.

Child Restraints
|
Baby and booster seats are available for $5 per day, capped at a maximum of $35 per hire, per seat. Front/Rear facing Baby seats are suitable for newborns to 18kg. Booster seats are suitable for toddlers 14kg to 26kg. All vehicles have the required fittings. Please be sure to include with your online reservation as these are subject to availability.

Driver’s License
|
All full current Australian and overseas or international licences are accepted. Drivers are to be a minimum age of 21 years old, subject to an age surcharge of AUD8.80 per day

Rental Duration
|
Minimum 24 hours from time of pick up.

One Way Rental Policy
|
One way hires are permitted at a surcharge of AUD10.00 per day, subject to minimum rental and availability.

Optional Extras
|
GPS Navigation available to hire subject to availability. AUD7.50 per day or AUD55.00 per rental.

Cancellation Policy
|
Cancellations made within 7 days of commencement of hire will not incur a penalty fee. Cancellations made within 6 days of the hire will incur a penalty fee of $100. 'No shows' or cancellations within 24hours will incur a penalty fee of the estimated charges for the entire hire.
